Mr. and Mrs. Poelstra started collecting modern art in the mid seventies. At the onset the primary colours and playful nature of the works by Cobra artists most appealed to them. Later on they developed an interest for objects in wood, bronze and glass, besides works on canvas and paper. This collection was formed with love and attention, and due to their passionate interest in art and the art market, this collection only contains works of a high quality.
