Two flintlock pistols, a seal, a travelling inkpot and a silver tobacco box
18th, 19th and 20th century
The pistols with bronze mounts and lock. One from Liège, marked E.L.G. One with bore snake. The seal oval with turned boxwood handle and screw cap. The inktpot circular and covered with red leather. The interior of the lid with a star and crescent, (such boxes were provided to the Turkish army) and the caption brevete s(ans) g(arantie) d(u) g(ouvernement) Paris. The tobacco box rectangular, the flat lid with an engraved view of Amsterdam seen from the IJ.
Second grade silver, approx. weight 261 grams.
