N.B.:
Marcelle Hanselaar quit her training at the Koninklijke Academie in The Hague early and settled in the centre of London where she developped herself further as a self-taught artist. Her body of work commences with several abstract works, and subsequently developes in a more expressionistic and figurative style. Hanselaar is represented internationaly by Saatchi Gallery and is a member of The London Group, which was founded as a counterpart of the Royal Academy of Arts.
