Note:
In 2004 the Dutch artist Koen Vermeule created the videofilm, titled De Zachte Weg. Under the direction of Vermeule, six judokas show their athletic skills under flood lighting. Subsequently the artists edited the video stills with gouache, as shown in the present lot.
