The eight lobed rim scalloped, the reverse side with a decoration of two dragons with riders alternated by two lions with riders circling the central knob. Along the rim flying birds, floral motifs and figures. In wooden Japanese box. Labeling of box can be translated as ‘an octagonal Chinese mirror with water creatures and floral motifs’, in the lid ‘summer of the year Showa 48 (1973), thus stated by Fujimotoya Kunitaro’.
