The box oval with edging. As lid an ivory carving of a bird amidst floral motif. The horn with hinged lid in a silver mount. On the inside the caption Geschenk van S. van Schuylenburg 1834. On the lid an ivory reclining dog, and a deer hunt in ivory. The paper knife / saw with silvered blade and ivory handle.
