The brass boiler on a ‘brick’ understructure containing a two-wick primus stove, together with a sight glass, a manometer, a whistle and further utensils. The piston and wheel surrounded by a fence. The high chimney detachable and with brick motif. Together with: a funnel, a measuring cup, a drip pan and a model scissors-grinder.

The firm of Doll & Cie was founded in 1898 by Peter Doll and J. Sondheim and specialised in the manufacture of high-quality model steam engines up to circa 1927. In 1938 the firm was taken over.
