A table cabinet
Southern Germany, circa 1700, black polished pine, mirror glass, brass
The top with a raised tomb-shaped lid. The front with two doors with panels. The wider lower section with a single drawer. The interior with seven drawers of varying size and mirror glass. The inside of the doors also with mirror glass (with traces of painted decoration). Escutcheon- and lozenge-shaped brass lockplates. The interior covered with marbled paper.
