Circa 1700, possibly Antwerp, ebony and silver
Rectangular with curved lid. With a central pierced work silver ornament of two putti with a laurel wreath. Silver mounted corners with cherub’s head decoration. The hinges with masks. Shield-shaped lockplate. Key with assay mark ‘flowered’ letter V. On four silver ball feet.
