A jug and two beermugs with tin hinged lids
Germany, circa 1700, stoneware, faience and tin
One Westerwald. According to annotation on inside of the lid marked with a Nürnberger Zinnmark. The thumbrest in the form of a shell. Central medallion with armorial. Surrounded by floral motif in Cobalt blue on a grey ground. One mug with a polychrome depiction of a hunter and his dog. The other with a coloured depiction of city. Both with a stylised acorn as thumbrest.
