Ben Viegers was a prominent Dutch painter known for his impressionistic landscapes and cityscapes. Born in The Hague, his work is distinguished by vibrant colours and dynamic brushwork, influenced by the Hague School and Dutch impressionists. Viegers specialised in plein-air painting, capturing market scenes, canals, and countryside views. Currently, a beautiful exhibition dedicated to his work can be seen at the Westlands Museum in Honselersdijk.
