Aurora Cañero’s sculptures highlight the existential mystery of life, while carrying an aura of dreaminess and curiosity. The use of pedestals is particularly significant for Cañero’s aesthetic language: ladder, hoops, diving boards, boats resting on their oars, rectangular shapes on which the figures stand.
