A French Empire gilt and patinated bronze ‘Au bon sauvage’ clock

The enamel dial with Roman numerals signed à Paris, flat bottomed movement with anchor escapement, countwheel striking on a bell and silk suspended pendulum, fitted in a gilt bronze drum being pushed by a gilt and patinated porter, the plinth with an applied mount symbolising commerce and parrots over canted corners, the whole raised on turned feet.
