A Dutch Renaissance carved oak and ebonised ‘luier’ cabinet
17th Century
The rectangular overhanging cornice above a carved frieze centred by a Neoclassical urn flanked by Bacchic childs holding bunches of grapes above a panelled door carved with the figure of a lady holding a book and flanked by ebonised pilasters above a drawer flanked by lion masks, all raised on a later stand with drawer on baluster legs.
