A Chinese bronze two-part ‘Shoulao and deer’ censer

The stag gracefully turning its head while the separate figure of Shoulao covers the aperture in its back, the stag with copper and silver inlaid spots marking its fur, Shoulao with silver thread inlays to his dress.
