A Louis-Philippe ormolu mantle clock

Surmounted by a floral lyre flanked by an allegorical female figure holding a club and a snake girdled mirror, and a trophy with flaming torch, all-seeing eye and floral wreath, gilt dial with blackened Roman numerals on a cypher ring with steel moon hands, surrounding a foliate medallion encompassed by an ornamental wreath, the backplate stamped 1043 and strike on a metal bell.
