We hereby invite you to visit our upcoming auction for the purchase of various utensils, collectibles and also trouvailles. The catalog contains 251 lots, ranging from silver, jewellery, clocks, furniture, sculptures, porcelain, pottery and Asian items, all selected for their quality and attractiveness.
The auction will start with a silver commemorative sheet by Cartier, depicting a cruise and train journey on the world map. Originating in America and made around 1930, this lot with a valuation of € 800 – 1,200 offers you an extremely sought-after object.
No less than 15 lots are very interesting for collectors of loderein boxes. Lot 30, for example, contains two silver loderein boxes in the form of miniature cabinets. The exceptionally beautifully decorated cabinets, approximately 4 cm high, have a valuation of € 600 – 1,000.
Among the jewels you will find lot 43, an 18K gold wristwatch from the famous brand Boucheron. This rectangular gold-coloured ribbed dial has a link strap and is offered with certificate for € 2,000 – 3,000.
Another important watchmaker is represented by lot 49, a large mantel clock by Breguet. The rosewood case features a round white dial with blued steel hands, very typical of this maker. Valuation € 3,000 – 4,000.
Lot 60 is a rare example of a so-called 'Bambocci' cabinet. This 18e century Italian furniture of walnut is trimmed with carved figures and mascerons, the three doors with a bronze sculpture in a niche. Valuation € 2,500 – 3,500.
From the Kröller-Müller collection, the clear glass annual beaker with lid is designed by HP Berlage. This monogrammed and numbered cup of almost 50 cm high was executed by the glass factory Leerdam in 1925 and is offered to you with a valuation of € 6,000 – 7,000.
A large part of this catalog consists of Chinese porcelain, of which lot 85, a pair of square blue and white bottles, immediately catches the eye. The decor of rocks and floral motifs within a zigzag border and the valuation of € 2,500 – 3,500 make these bottles highly coveted objects.
The lobed, double-walled and openwork Yixing teapot with lid comes from almost the same period. The previous auction once again proved the popularity of this stoneware, which is now collected worldwide. This copy, lot 180, is completely decorated with bamboo branches and very attractively valued at € 2,000 – 3,000.
The auction ends with a collection of Asian items, of which lot 251 is a unique Buddha Shakyamuni. This 9e century bronze statue comes from Indonesia and shows the Buddha seated on a lotus pedestal placed on a throne. The valuation for this museum piece is € 9,000 – 11,000.
Of course, the above is just a selection from the entire range. We therefore invite you to the online catalog here .
