The second week of June we organize a very varied auction, consisting of 446 lots. All works and objects included in this catalog have an estimated auction value of less than €3000 and were made between the 18th and early 21st century. No fewer than 325 of these lots are offered to you without a minimum price, making this auction extremely attractive for every taste and wallet.
A large part of the works offered without a minimum price (ATP) comes from the well-known investment company Rodamco. The company, founded in 1979 by asset manager Robeco, has built up an interesting art collection over the years to embellish its offices. These more than 120 works are not only homegrown, but many international artists have also been collected over the years.
In addition, this auction contains various works and objects from the Poelstra-Nanninga collection (Vlaardingen). Mr and Mrs Poelstra started collecting modern art in the mid-seventies. In the beginning, the primary colors and the playful character of works by, among others, CoBrA artists appealed to them. Later on, in addition to working on canvas and paper, they also became interested in objects made of wood, bronze and glass. Because the collectors followed the art market with great passion, the collection only contains high-quality art.
The catalog leads you in alphabetical order from Sonia Abeloos to Pat Andrea, Karel Appel, Arman, Armando, Armand Avril, Simone van Bakel, Jan de Bie, Rob Birza, Bram Bogart, Wil Bouthoorn, Georges Braque, Herman Brood, Alexander Calder, Hugo Claus, Constant, Corneille, Jan Cremer, Pieter Defesche, Jef Diederen, Kees van Dongen, Marlene Dumas, Harrie Gerritz, Ferenc Gögös, Hans Hartung, Jan van Heel, Piet van der Hem, Anton Heyboer, Jaap Hillenius, Robert Indiana, Age Klink, Herman Krikhaar, Joop Kropff, Harry van Kruiningen, Theo Kuijpers, Ger Lataster, Charles Leickert, Lucassen, Lucebert, Nico Molenkamp, Jan Montyn, Wout Muller, Jaap Nanninga, Eric de Nie, Theo Niermeijer, Dirk Hidde Nijland, Cor Noltee, Michael Parkes, Pablo Picasso, Jörg Remé, Aad van Rijnsbergen, Coba Ritsema, Rob Scholte, Jan Schoonhoven, Jan Sierhuis, Kees Slegt, Willy Sluiter, Jan Snoeck, Walasse Ting, Norman Trapman, Guy Vandenbranden, Victor Vasarely, Bram van Velde, Aat and Venus Veldhoen, Carel Visser, B ert and Hans Vredegoor, Warffemius, Clara van de Water, Carel Willink to Jan Wolkers.
